YUMEKOUBOU GALLERY

Yumekoubou's owner, KIYAMA, is also the third generation director of Yumekoubo in Japan. In 2019, Yumekoubou was established, with the bamboo installation named "BEYOND CONNECTION" created by Chikuunsai IV Tanabe as emblematic, introducing Japanese arts that are compatible with the Eastern and Western culture. Apart from bamboo arts, ceramics, paintings, sculptures by different artists are also represented by gallery, using Hong Kong as a bridgehead to spead their works worldwide. The gallery also presents how Japan bamboo artists create bamboo arts from traditional crafts to contemporary arts by compiling publications such as "Shu·Ha·Ri" and other publications about bamboo collections, so as to introduce the aesthetic of bamboo craft.
